our origins

Every cup of coffee is a journey around the world.

An immersion in the surprising diversity of nature, because its taste changes from season to season, from harvest to harvest. That’s why we travel thousands of kilometres in search of the best harvest, in pursuit of optimum and consistent quality. That’s what we’ve been doing every day for more than 90 years.

SINCE 1927: A HISTORY OF TRADITION AND QUALITY

In over ninety years of history, we have been fortunate enough to live an extraordinary experience, made up of important milestones and daily passion. Because the greatest reward for our work is the pleasure of sharing the love for what we do through the simple joy of a cup of coffee.

THE SUSTAINABLE WORLD of CARRARO 1927

Every coffee plant thrives in a habitat that must be preserved. QUALITy & CERTIFICAtions

Our products meet the highest international quality and production standards and, as evidenced by annually renewed certifications, comply with the food traditions of different religions.

We want to create a sustainable future.

All Carraro Nespresso® and A Modo Mio® compatible products can be packaged in compostable capsules. It is the little things, and the daily gestures, that make the difference.

Certificazioni

UNI EN 13432

To obtain OK COMPOST certification, the product must meet the stringent requirements of UNI EN 13432 and undergo thorough laboratory analysis. OK COMPOST is also the result of more than 20 years of research and development as well as analysis, census and cataloguing of packaging materials, thus creating one of the most extensive international databases in the sector.

Food Safety

Caffè Carraro is certified according to the global standards for the safety of agro-food products BRC (grade AA) and IFS (higher level). Both certifications are recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), and attest to the achievement of certain elements in a management system focused on quality and product safety.
